To the Maya wise men, their astrologist, architects, surveying and structural engineers, artists, stone masons and building laborers.
For the soundtrack of the movie, I commissioned Pablo Collado, a Mayan musician born in Guatemala, now living in Belize. He composed and played this piece called Hix (pronounced eish), Maya for jaguar. You hear his roar recorded live along with many more of his companions living in the jungle. Pablo is at one with Hix using only traditional Maya instruments to create this unique soundtrack. Thank You pablo.
